I guess it’s about time this story was told, it started when I was young, If pushed to answer I’d guess four years old vs. a cow and it’s tongue, So now it all comes flooding back to me, cause certain things within us just aren’t history, And I’m just so afraid I can’t displace, these issues that I battle with my body and my face


But then I take a sec to stop and have a look at some words I wrote, in an initialled book, on a lighter note, so keep singing these words right back to me, on your darker days oh

‘Cause everybody has their cons, it’s just the way that it goes, like my broken roman nose, and your lack of faith, and everybody has their pros, the things that set us apart, like the kindness in my mothers heart, and your incredible eyes

We live in times when you can change it all if you money to spare, But have you questioned if your tragic barnet could have more roots than your hair, So I’m not asking for you to agree, cause this is self-reflection, what I see inside of me, But why not apply the same theory, then look into the mirror and be happy with who you see

The things that I love the most, and if you ever lost them I would cry, cause there’s nothing on earth could replace them, I’d have to climb a ladder up into the night and pick the stars from the sky to forge two diamonds that shine as bright, as the ones staring into mine oh
